I got my first ‘big girl’ camera back in 2010, and have spent the last decade teaching myself how to use it. I started out just wanting some quality photos of my kids, and it drove me to study, practice and research. Where I once was all about auto settings and natural light, I now shoot in manual and dabble in off camera flash.
